Overview of Odoo
Odoo is a comprehensive suite of business management software tools that includes applications for customer relationship management (CRM), e-commerce, billing, accounting, manufacturing, warehouse, project management, and inventory management. It is developed by Odoo S.A., a Belgium-based company, and is available in both Community and Enterprise editions.

- 2005: Fabien Pinckaers, the founder and CEO, started developing TinyERP.
- 2010: The company grew to over 100 employees and was renamed OpenERP.
- 2014: The name was changed to Odoo to reflect its expanded capabilities beyond ERP.
- 2021: Odoo products were used by more than 5 million customers.
Editions
- Community Edition: Free and open-source, suitable for small to medium-sized businesses.
